2008 BWSC Fall
Introduction to Competitive Swimming

The Baldwin Whitehall Swim Club, Inc. ("BWSC") will
host its two-week Introduction to Competitive Swimming Clinic for the Fall
Season beginning Monday, September 15, 2008. Registration will be held the
first night of the clinic at the Baldwin High School Pool Lobby
area beginning at 6:30 p.m. that day. Swimmers should come ready to begin
the Clinic that night and participate each weekday evening through Friday,
September 26, 2008. Practice times and locations are listed on the attached
FLYER. The
cost is $58.00. Children age 7 through 18 interested in joining a
competitive swim team are invited to attend. Qualified swimmers should be
able to swim the length of a 25-yard pool freestyle or breaststroke and
participate in an hour-long practice. The Clinic
SHOULD NOT be
considered lessons and there will be an emphasis on technique, drills and

Participate in County Habitat for Humanity at South Park!!

The results are in and BWSC made a splash at the South Park Habitat for Humanity Triathlon Event this past Saturday, July 12, 2008!
Many, many thanks to BWSC event coordinator Sarah Altavilla! After multiple e-mails and notices to our members, 12 of our swimmers enjoyed a fun day representing BWSC and supporting Habitat for Humanity! They all sported baseball caps commemorating their participation on behalf of BWSC and "winning it in the swim".
