BWSC Coaching Staff
Coach: Dave Watterson
Coach Dave has been with BWSC for 11 years. Coach Dave is also a coach for Brentwood High School, and the Harrison Middle School head coach. In addition to coaching Dave is a USA Swimming official BWSC's representative on AMS's WetTech committee, and does all of our meet entry. He is an ASCA Level II coach. Dave was captain of his college team at Carnegie Mellon University.
Coach: John Goelz
John is a recent graduate of Baldwin Wallace College with a BA in Sports Management. John swam competitively through through both High School and College and was a member of the South Park Acquatics Club. While at Baldwin Wallace College, John served as an Assistant Coach with the Berea-Midpark Swim Club. John has also coached with the Mt. Lebanon Aqua Club.
Coach: Britney Harsh
Britney recently earned her Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Education. Britney joins us with a background in both education and swimming. Britney swam competitively though High School and was a swim instructor at the Jewish Community Alliance of Lancaster. She also worked with swimmers in the JCA's Aaron Acres program.
Coach: Katie Pietkiewicz
Katie joins BWSC after graduating from Slippery Rock University, having swum there on a full scholarship. Katie was a 4-year letter winner at Slippery Rock and at Bethel Park High school. She began her swimming career at the age of 7, and progressed to be a distance swimming standout. Before coming to BWSC, Katie coached at Peters Township, Hampton and Blackhawk.
